WLD will experience a reduction in unlock rate in July, with an overall decrease of 43%
ME News Report, April 10 (UTC+8), the official World blog announced that the WLD token unlock rate will automatically decrease by approximately 43% starting July 24, 2026. Currently, 4.9 billion WLD tokens (49% of the total supply) have been unlocked, with about 3.3 billion tokens in circulation. Specifically, the World community unlock rate will decrease from 3.2 million tokens per day to 1.6 million tokens per day, a 50% reduction; the team and investor unlock rate will decrease from 1.9 million tokens per day to 1.3 million tokens per day, a 32% reduction. The total unlock volume will decrease from approximately 5.1 million tokens per day to about 2.9 million tokens per day. WLD uses a continuous linear unlock mechanism, with no large one-time unlocks (cliffs). This rate adjustment is due to the established on-chain contract arrangements, aiming to gradually reduce selling pressure. (Source: ODaily)
