If you tweet: “The trend is downward”

You probably get more engagement than any tweet supporting the upward trend
Why?
Because people naturally tend to fear more than reason
And because any opinion that contradicts the herd is treated as a “risk” even if it’s technically supported
Many see my tweets as outside the majority’s trend
Even though I just write what I see on the chart… without flattering feelings
The real question:
Do I please everyone for the engagement?
Or continue with my technical view even if it’s against the general mood?
Marketing-wise?
The smarter move is to tweet with the herd
Because you satisfy their psychological desire and become part of their beliefs
But over time…
People don’t remember the accounts with the most engagement
They remember who read the market clearly during the noise
Maybe next time I start tweeting with the herd… who knows 😉
