I probably shouldn't be sharing this, but f*ck it.

This is THE PLAY if you want to get into AI small-business consulting (either agents/workflows or marketing).
The key is, become a CUSTOMER first, don't cold pitch.
• Go there 2-3x a week (if it's a cafè/restaurant/gym etc). More if you can.
• Greet the staff by name. Say you just moved to the area.
• Figure out who the owner is, introduce yourself.
• Bring your laptop and work from there if possible.
• If asked, mention you’re in AI. Don’t pitch. They might enquire naturally on their own.
• A few weeks in, once you're friendly with the owner/manager - mention how much you like their business and how you think you can help.
• At this point, you would've already built credibility as a genuine customer as opposed to walking in as a stranger (reduces the likelihood of rejection - they will feel bad declining a loyal customer).
• Offer them a free/no-risk trial (if you're offering AI marketing - offer a pure-upside basis).
Most people are too lazy to do this, but it's way more effective than cold pitching.
