After I started recording, I realized that no matter how quickly the lively narrative changes, it doesn’t matter—in the end, there are only two things that can really help me sleep: where to place my assets, and how to leave when it’s actually time to go. Recently, everyone’s been talking about parallel execution and sharding, flying high with the discussion—then, right after the cross-chain bridge got hacked, it instantly pulled me back to reality: no matter how smooth the experience is, when something goes wrong, it’s a one-size-fits-all cut. And then there was the time the oracle malfunctioned—there were a bunch of people in the group who only replied “wait for confirmation”… to put it plainly, this is also a kind of consensus: don’t rush to act. Anyway, when I look at projects now, I don’t first ask “will it go up,” I first think “if something goes wrong, can I still get out,” and my mindset isn’t as easy to get swept along as before.
