In the past, we always thought that knowledge was too much and learning was too tiring. Now, information is readily available, and AI remembers faster and more completely than humans, so many people begin to doubt: Is it still necessary to memorize these things? Actually, many times, it is us over-“AI-izing” ourselves. AI needs a large amount of knowledge for calculation, production, and output; but humans are different. Humans remember a poem, a piece of history, a formula, not just for exams or solving problems, but to enrich their sensitivity and spiritual world. Because humans live not only for efficiency but also to experience the world. The books you read, the words you remember, the stories you understand—all ultimately become your temperament, emotions, aesthetic, and way of viewing the world. AI can possess vast amounts of information, but it does not feel lonely, shocked, romantic, or peaceful because of it, and these are precisely the most important parts of being human.
