ME News Report, May 13 (UTC+8), SlowMist founder Yu Xian stated that the theft of Transit was caused by legacy issues from a security incident in 2022, as early versions of the smart contracts on the Tron network had historical legacy problems. Although these old version contracts were discontinued in 2022, they were recently exploited by attackers. The smart contracts currently running Transit are unaffected. (Source: Foresight News)
