Stop-loss really is a bit like a breakup, dragging it out without admitting defeat, in the end not only losing money but also losing your mindset, with interest/opportunity costs piling up, the more you watch, the more uncomfortable it gets. Recently, everyone has been tying ETF fund flows and US stock risk appetite to explain crypto price movements; I also look at correlations, but honestly, that's macro winds. When it comes to your own positions, you still need a "cut and run" switch, otherwise you’re relying solely on emotion to hold. A friend still says, "Just wait a bit longer, it’ll break even," and I feel my stomach ache just listening to him... Anyway, I now prefer to accept small losses first, then find a more comfortable entry point later; if I’m wrong, it’s better than stubbornly holding on. That’s all for now.
