According to CoinPost, Japan Blockchain Foundation, a Web3 infrastructure operations and management company in Japan, announced on the 13th that it has officially decided to issue a trust-based Japanese yen stablecoin, EJPY.


The stablecoin will initially be issued on Japan Open Chain (JOC) and Ethereum (ETH) blockchains, with the goal of beginning circulation within the 2026 fiscal year.
