I just realized that many newcomers to the crypto and finance markets often get confused when people talk about "bullish markets" or "what is a bearish trend" without understanding the meaning. Today, I will explain to you the origin and significance of these terms because, in fact, they are directly related to how you read the market.

The story begins in the 18th century when financial traders wanted to find a quick way to describe price movements. They chose two animals as symbols because their attacking actions are completely opposite. Since then, these words have become the standard language in the global trading community.

Starting with Bullish – this term comes from Bull. When a bull attacks, it raises its horns from below upwards. This movement is used to symbolize rising prices. So when someone says the market is bullish, they expect prices to go up, which is a positive signal that traders usually want to see.

Conversely, what is bearish is entirely different. Bearish comes from Bear. Bears attack by swinging their claws from top to bottom, and this movement symbolizes a price decline. When the market is bearish, it means prices are expected to fall, and this is often when traders need to be alert or adjust their positions.

I see that understanding what bearish and bullish mean is very important because it affects your trading decisions. You don't always want to buy; sometimes waiting for a stronger bullish market is a smarter strategy. Conversely, during a bearish trend, you need to know whether it’s an opportunity to accumulate or better to stay away.

Currently, if you follow BTC, ETH, or BNB, you will often hear people analyzing which phase the market is in. Understanding these concepts helps you not to get lost when everyone discusses market trends.

So, in summary: Bullish means rising prices, Bearish means falling prices. The animals are just a classic analogy from hundreds of years ago, but it remains the common language that all traders worldwide understand. Now that you know more, keep an eye on the market and tell yourself whether you think it’s bullish or bearish. Wishing you successful trading.
