I have tried several free automatic trading software, and honestly there are some interesting options if you know where to look. I’ll start with TradingView, which I think is the best starting point — it’s not pure AI, but it has these smart indicators and custom scripts in Pine Script that allow you to automate strategies without going crazy. You can backtest your strategies, and the free version is already very solid, although the pro adds advanced tools.
Then there’s TrendSpider, which surprised me — it automatically identifies price patterns, trendlines, Fibonacci levels... Technical analysis is almost completely automated, and you get alerts when interesting signals form. The free version is a bit limited, but at least you can test how it works.
Tuner AI is different from the others because it focuses on on-chain data and market psychology. It offers entry points based on what the AI reads from the data, and the basic version is free with premium upgrades if you need more.
CryptoHopper is the automatic trading bot that manages strategies with AI — it works with the main exchanges in the sector. The free package is available but with transaction limits. The same goes for 3Commas, which offers automatic trading with integrated DCA and Grid Trading. The AI here manages risk and tries to optimize profits; a free version is available but with limits on the number of bots you can create.
For free automatic trading software, I’d say it depends on what you’re looking for — if you want pure technical analysis, TradingView is king; if you prefer real bots working for you, then CryptoHopper or 3Commas are the way to go. What do you want more: full automation or just support with analysis?
