Bitmine Slows Weekly Ether Purchases After Buying More Than 1 Million ETH This Year
Bitmine bought 26,659 ETH worth about $63 million last week as it slowed weekly ether purchases after months of aggressive accumulation. The purchase lifted Bitmine’s holdings above 5.2 million ETH, or about 4.31% of Ethereum’s circulating supply. Tom Lee said the company has acquired more than 1 million ETH since the start of this year and now stakes more than 90% of its holdings.
