I’m not very good at… pretending to be all fired up to grind through the whole task-platform routine. Lately, I really feel like I’m getting more and more into the mindset of going to work: check-in, share/repost, fill out forms, and grant/connect a whole bunch of permissions—then you have to watch the scores and be afraid of getting flagged as a “witch.” To be blunt, you’re not “participating in the ecosystem”; you’re handing in assignments. If you do it badly, you lose points. It’s exhausting.
Even more ridiculous is that in the group they keep staring at on-chain large transfers every day, and the moment an exchange’s hot/cold wallets move, they say, “Smart money is coming.” Then everyone follows suit, changes routes, and submits extra interactions. Now I’m the one with the stronger compulsion: if I don’t have to authorize, I won’t. If I do authorize, I’ll periodically clean things up. I use separate wallets, and I’d rather get a little less than leave permissions sitting there like a ticking time bomb. Anyway, even if grinding for rewards starts to feel more and more like work, I don’t want to end up writing an apology statement.
