Want to mine on your phone? I recently looked into these mining apps and found there are quite a few options. Let's start with CryptoTab, one of the earliest mining apps—you can mine BTC just by installing it, and you can invite friends to earn more. The operation is super simple. But honestly, the efficiency of mining directly on a phone is really limited.
Later, I discovered cloud mining, which seems more reliable. Some major exchanges offer cloud mining products—you can directly purchase computing power to participate in their mining pools, with earnings going straight to your wallet, and you can choose different term packages. StormGain is also a good mining app, with a user-friendly interface and decent security, though it’s a bit annoying that it needs to be restarted every 4 hours.
I’ve used the NiceHash mining app; it has a very useful profit calculator, which both beginners and experienced miners like, and its security is also good. Bitdeer is mainly for experienced users, capable of mining multiple coins, with more flexible investment plans.
Currently, BTC is around $80.86k, and YFI is about $2.81k. To say whether mining on a phone is worth it really depends on your perspective. Some think mobile mining is too competitive, requiring 8 hours a day and carrying scam risks, so it’s not worth it. But others believe it’s the easiest and most straightforward way to make money, and with hardware improvements and new algorithms, the outlook might improve.
The process to mine on Android is very simple: choose a mining app, install it, register an account, set the coin type, input your wallet address, select a mining pool, then just click start. For iPhone, it’s much more complicated—Apple’s restrictions are very strict, so you can mainly only use cloud mining apps, select a hash power rental plan, link your wallet, and start.
Looking for the easiest coins to mine? Based on the latest feedback, Monero, DOGE, Vertcoin, and Ravencoin are relatively easier. But don’t forget to calculate your electricity costs and the market value of the coins, so you can really judge whether it’s worthwhile. In short, do more research before making a decision, and don’t rush into it.
