Recently, the group has been arguing again about privacy coins and coin mixing, whether they count as "crossing the line."

I'm actually more concerned about a very simple matter: where to put the keys.
When assets are small, a hardware wallet is enough, feels secure, just remember to back it up properly and avoid doing stupid things.
Once the money grows a bit more, I prefer multi-signature— not for coolness, but because I'm afraid I might slip up someday, get malware on my computer, or get emotional and click on a malicious link, so at least one more person/device can stop me.
I think social recovery is suitable for people who are "worried about losing or forgetting," but only if you really trust those "guardians," and they also understand not to click links randomly...
Honestly, security isn't some mysterious science; it depends on how much trouble you're willing to go through yourself.
For now, that's it. Tonight, I'll move the backup location somewhere else.
