💸 After a pause and management statements about the possible sale of part of the Bitcoin reserve, Strategy resumed buying cryptocurrencies. Over the course of a week, the company purchased 535 BTC for about $43 million. This is noticeably lower than previous investment volumes.
Strategy holds 818,869 BTC on its balance sheet at an average price of $75,540 per coin.
🪙 Bitmine, which has the second-largest corporate crypto treasury by value, said it bought 26,659 ETH. This accounted for roughly a quarter of its previous weekly volumes. The company has accumulated more than 5.2 million ETH—4.31% of the total Ether supply.
Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee confirmed that as the firm gets closer to its long-term goal—accumulating 5% of the issuance—it is reducing the pace of purchasing the asset.
