Court Clears Arbitrum DAO Vote on $71M Recovered ETH Transfer to Aave

A Manhattan federal judge modified a restraining notice to let Arbitrum DAO vote on moving about $71 million in recovered ETH to Aave LLC. The order says the on-chain vote and transfer will not violate the notice, but the freeze will remain attached to the assets after transfer. The ruling does not decide whether judgment creditors can ultimately reach the funds or whether Aave LLC should receive a $300 million cash bond. The dispute stems from the April 18 Kelp DAO bridge exploit, which drained about $293 million in rsETH and left Aave with as much as $230 million in bad debt.
