just found out about Ethereum Week Singapore 2025 and honestly it sounds like a pretty big deal if you're into eth ecosystem stuff. it ran from late september through early october and covered pretty much everything - research, tech, finance, all of it.

so what is ethereum week exactly? basically it's this whole series of events bringing together academics, developers, founders, investors and regulators all in one place. they had separate tracks like the ethereum research forum on the 29th where they focused on academic collaboration, then there was this demo day where 25 teams pitched their projects after weeks of iteration.

the vibe was pretty interesting too - they had d/acc day discussing decentralization and tech acceleration, a defi-focused track called unite defi singapore targeting builders, and some finance summit exploring how traditional institutions and crypto innovators could work together. plus networking events mixed in so people could actually connect.
