ME News report. On May 12 (UTC+8), Trump said the ceasefire agreement is in serious jeopardy. He watched CBS News’ “60 Minutes” interview with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, calling the program “quite good,” but he disagreed with Netanyahu’s claim that “no one can fully foresee Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz.” Trump responded: “I can foresee it. I know they will close the strait. That’s their only weapon. Now it’s no longer much of a weapon, but it’s still their only weapon.” Trump also said that if it weren’t for previously providing help to certain countries and making the relevant requests, the U.S. could have kept the strait open through the “Freedom Plan” operation. He added that if necessary, the U.S. could restart similar actions, and even take “stronger measures.” (Jin10) (Source: ODAILY)
