Just checked the liquidation data from the past week and it's pretty wild. According to CoinAnk, we saw around $172 million in total liquidations across the market in 24 hours, which is a decent chunk of change. The breakdown shows $94.5 million from longs getting wiped and $77.7 million from shorts, so it's fairly balanced on both sides.

BTC took the biggest hit with $12.9 million liquidated, and ETH followed with $8.2 million. CoinAnk's numbers show this kind of volatility is pretty typical when we see sharp moves, but it's worth watching if this trend continues. The data suggests neither bulls nor bears had a clear advantage in this round of liquidations.
