ME News Report, April 10 (UTC+8), multiple current and former employees accused blockchain gaming company Gunzilla Games of unpaid wages for several months on LinkedIn. The talent acquisition manager stated that the company owed wages for months, and the CEO ignored employees’ inquiries about salary information, with no clear payment schedule. The chief hard surface artist said they did not receive wages for August and September. The senior QA engineer reported not receiving salary for five months, and during an in-person meeting, the CEO promised to pay wages and end the employment relationship but later revoked all access and did not make any payments. A retired senior VFX animator stated they have not received any wages since October 2025. The company’s free NFT battle royale game “Off the Grid” failed to reach the expected number of players, and over the past year, due to financial difficulties, multiple rounds of layoffs have been carried out. In early 2025, Gunzilla Games acquired Game Informer magazine and its original editorial team for an undisclosed amount. (Source: PANews)
