The blockchain game company Gunzilla Games is accused by current and former employees of unpaid wages for several months.
ME News Report, April 10 (UTC+8), multiple current and former employees accused blockchain gaming company Gunzilla Games of unpaid wages for several months on LinkedIn. The talent acquisition manager stated that the company owed wages for months, the CEO ignored employees’ inquiries about salary information, and there was no clear payment schedule. The chief hard surface artist said they had not received wages for August and September. The senior QA engineer stated they had not received a salary for five months, and during an in-person meeting, the CEO promised to pay wages and end the employment relationship but then revoked all access and did not make any payments. A retired senior VFX animator said they had not received any wages since October 2025. The company’s free NFT battle royale game “Off the Grid” failed to reach the expected number of players, and due to financial difficulties over the past year, multiple rounds of layoffs have been carried out. In early 2025, Gunzilla Games acquired Game Informer magazine and its original editorial team for an undisclosed amount. (Source: PANews)
