People who live with clarity often maintain a sense of restraint and boundaries when interacting with others.

Even if the relationship is very close, they won't completely get too close without distance, but will always leave a reasonable and safe space.
Because people are like hedgehogs; getting too close might keep you warm, but it can also prick each other.
If the distance becomes too close and makes either party feel uncomfortable, it's necessary to step back a little and readjust the boundaries.
A truly comfortable relationship is not one with no gaps at all, but rather a "just right" distance where both parties feel at ease.
