you don’t need to be young and successful

you need to live a life while becoming mature and accomplished
“young and successful” is one of the biggest psyops ever sold to an impatient mind
you are being rushed
you are being brainwashed
then you wonder why you feel behind, empty, anxious, burned out
i used to think freedom was something you earn after you sacrifice enough of yourself
work harder
make more money
get there faster
prove everyone wrong
then finally live
but i’m starting to think that’s backwards
i’ve seen people around my age “make it” and still look completely dead inside
some went too far
some got socially executed
some ended up trapped inside the life they thought would save them
not everyone, obviously
but enough to make me question the whole thing
i don’t think a young mind is always designed to hold success
it’s designed to try things
make memories
get humbled
fall in love
lose direction
find pieces of yourself
build slowly
learn what actually matters
i’m not saying don’t work
work hard
build things
take risks
become competent
but don’t turn your entire youth into a sacrifice for some future version of “freedom”
because you might get there and realise you trained your nervous system to treat life like a threat
personally, i’d rather have less assets and more memories from my youth
not because i don’t care about success
but because i want success that doesn’t cost me my soul before i’m old enough to understand what i even traded away
a mature mind can hold more
more money
more pressure
more responsibility
more peace
steady path wins the fast race in ways people only understand later
so no
you don’t need to be young and successful
you need to live while becoming someone who can actually handle the life you’re trying to build
