Little Ma Yun's 18th birthday debut, online viewers surpass 70k, kissing a girl goes viral

On May 8th, in a village in Yongfeng County, Jiangxi Province, 18-year-old Fan Xiaoqin livestreamed for the first time by himself. He wore an old T-shirt, clasped his fists with both hands, and kept saying thank you. He didn't perform any talents or prepare a script; he just sat in the yard chopping bamboo and feeding pigs. As a result, the online viewers suddenly surged to 70,000, and the gifts from viewers kept coming nonstop. Fan Xiaoqin wasn't acting; he was just living his normal life, but everyone liked watching this.
This story starts in 2015. That year, he was seven years old. His family was on minimum living allowance. Because a photo of him resembling Ma Yun was circulated online, Ma Yun himself joked, "Looks like me when I was young." So, the nickname "Little Ma Yun" spread. No one cared about what he could do; they only cared whether he looked like Ma Yun.
In 2016, a businessman from Hebei took him away, dressed him in a suit, and filmed ads and TV shows. He didn't go to school; he only learned how to smile, stand, and wave at the camera. His family’s conditions improved a bit, but his mind and body didn't keep up. By age 13, his face had grown, and he no longer looked like Ma Yun. People couldn't make money from him anymore, so they sent him back to his hometown.
Later, it was found that he had a second-degree intellectual disability, was only 1.3 meters tall, and needed help with daily life. After his cousin took over his account, he posted some daily rural life clips, attracting 370,000 followers. The tips became the family's only source of income. He couldn't send messages on his phone or do calculations, but he knew people watched his videos, so he kept repeating those actions.
This livestream went viral not because he changed his appearance, but because those netizens from ten years ago still remembered him. Everyone wanted to see how "Little Ma Yun" was doing now, digging up old stories like archaeology. He's still pretty much the same as before—quiet, a bit slow to react, and always repeating actions. The platform didn't block him, and new regulations didn't target him. He could continue livestreaming, so he just kept going.
Initially, capital only wanted to make quick money. His family depended on him for food. Netizens reposted with sympathy while also clicking to watch him feed pigs. He had no choice; even saying he didn't want to livestream was unclear. There are many children like him, in Guizhou and Henan.
