Amazon builds AI agent RuleForge to address cloud security vulnerabilities, with rule generation speed increased by 336%
ME News Report, April 10 (UTC+8), Amazon recently built an automated system called “Vulnerability Detection Agent,” with its core being RuleForge, aimed at addressing security challenges in its massive cloud infrastructure. The system continuously scans global cloud environment assets, uses AI models to analyze vulnerability severity and impact, and autonomously takes initial mitigation measures (such as generating repair suggestions and triggering alerts). It integrates multiple AI technologies including machine learning, automated reasoning, and knowledge management, capable of handling vast amounts of data and learning from it. The article states that the system has been used to address over 48,000 new vulnerabilities, with its rule generation speed being 336% faster than human analysts, thereby improving vulnerability detection efficiency, shortening response times, and enhancing the overall security of AWS and its customer environments.
