ME News Report, May 10 (UTC+8), according to reports, South Korea’s National Tax Service is piloting for the first time to entrust the custody and management of seized virtual assets to private crypto custody institutions. The related tender was announced on April 29, with the bid deadline on May 12, and the pilot is planned to run until the end of this year. Major Korean custody institutions such as KODA, KDAC, Hecto WalletOne, BDACS, InfiniteBlock, and others are all preparing to participate. Although the budget for the pilot project is only about $5,800, industry experts believe that obtaining a “South Korea National Tax Service project” reference case has symbolic significance.
