ME News, on April 10 (UTC+8), Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that, given Lebanon’s multiple requests for direct negotiations with Israel, he instructed that direct negotiations with Lebanon begin as soon as possible yesterday. The talks will focus on disarming Hezbollah and establishing peaceful relations between Israel and Lebanon. Israel thanked Lebanon’s Prime Minister today for calling for the demilitarization of Beirut. (Source: PANews)
