🦅USD1 Native Login Tempo: The Stablecoin War Enters a New Stage ❗️

- Tempo: A dedicated Layer 1 for payments created by payment giant Stripe and Paradigm, investing $500 million together, specifically designed for stablecoin payments, launched on the mainnet in March this year.
In the competition among stablecoins, the labels "first mover" and "native" are very important.
Native ≠ Bridged. Other stablecoins on Tempo, including USDT0, currently still need to be wrapped via bridges to be used.
And USD1 is the first stablecoin issued natively according to Tempo’s own TIP-20 standard, directly minted on-chain without a wrapping layer, allowing it to enjoy all of Tempo’s performance optimizations: extremely low fees, instant settlement, and built-in compliance tools.
Securing this native launch of USD1 means it will have the highest priority in Tempo’s DEX routing, payment channels, and cross-chain integrations.
As other stablecoins gradually come in, the overall strategy is already set.
Cross-chain support has also been synchronized with Chainlink CCIP, making USD1’s movement between Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Tempo safer, significantly reducing bridging risks.
