This will allow the attack funds frozen on Arbitrum to be transferred to AAVE LLC, but the relevant legal restraining order will be transferred along with the assets. Previously, plaintiffs holding judgments against North Korea tried to limit this money, arguing that it could be used to enforce compensation judgments related to North Korea; AAVE argued that the frozen assets concerned belong to users of the AAVE protocol and are not owned by the attacker or North Korea-related entities.
