The United States will implement centralized quarantine for American passengers involved in COVID-19 related cruise ships
ME News update: On May 9 (UTC+8), the “Hondierus” cruise ship reported a hantavirus outbreak while sailing in the Atlantic Ocean. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has activated its Emergency Operations Center and classified the outbreak as a “Level 3” emergency response. CDC officials confirmed that after returning to the U.S., American passengers on the cruise will be quarantined in Nebraska. The CDC’s Emergency Operations Center has three response levels, with Level 3 being the lowest.
