Ethereum (ETH) | Directional Choice Under $2,350 Pressure
Latest Market Overview
Ethereum is currently quoted at approximately $2,268-$2,294, down about 2.20%-3.09% in the past 24 hours. ETH has come under pressure after failing to effectively break through the $2,400 resistance, now testing the validity of the $2,265-$2,220 support zone. The 4-hour chart shows the price compressing between clearly defined support and resistance areas with a definite direction, and spot demand has dropped to a five-week low. From a macro perspective, the bullish structure remains intact on higher timeframes, but signs of seller dominance have appeared on lower levels.
Key Support and Resistance Levels
· First Support: $2,220-$2,265 (76.4% Fibonacci retracement and key defense line)
· Core Support: $2,150-$2,200 (weakens if broken)
· Short-term Resistance: $2,320-$2,350 (break above to retest previous high)
· Key Resistance: $2,400-$2,440 (breaking through could open upward channel)
· Breakout Target: Above $2,600
Core Driving Logic and Order Strategy
Institutional strategies are shifting from “betting on price” to “betting on ecosystem”—outflows from spot ETFs do not represent the full capital movement: approximately $29 million of staked ETH funds continue to flow in daily, reflecting institutional investors earning long-term returns through staking on the Ethereum network. In April, the overall net inflow of Ethereum spot ETFs was $356 million, and on May 1st, a net inflow of $101.2 million was recorded, ending the previous four days of $184 million outflow. Large whales continue to accumulate, and over 35% of ETH supply has been staked and locked, intensifying on-chain supply tightness.
· Long (Conservative): Gradually buy in at $2,220-$2,250, stop-loss at $2,150, first target $2,350, second target $2,400
· Long (Aggressive Chase): Effectively hold above $2,350 to chase longs, stop-loss at $2,280, target $2,600
· Short (Short-term): Attempt short when resistance at $2,320-$2,350 causes a pullback, stop-loss at $2,400, target $2,220-$2,250
