there are really only 5 reasons someone stops scrolling for your content:
→ your writing pulls them in (hooks, storytelling, words that don't let go)
→ your visuals do the work fast (graphics that hit before a caption gets read)
→ you made them feel something (memes, drama, comedy, the stuff that spreads)
→ you made them money or think they could (alphas, incentives, the financial itch)
→ they're just returning a favor (support loops, the most common reason..
and the weakest)
most CT "engagement strategies" are just optimizing for that last one.
the creators who actually compound are playing a different game entirely.
they're building in the first four.
