Pectra (Prague-Electra) upgrade officially went live on the mainnet in May 2026, making it one of the most important upgrades for Ethereum in 2025-2026. Key improvements include: EIP-7251 (raising the maximum stake limit for a single validator to 2,048 ETH), EIP-7702 (account abstraction, enhancing user experience), doubling Blob throughput, significantly reducing validator onboarding time, and more.

Impact: improves Layer 1 efficiency, reduces L2 costs, enhances scalability, and supports higher TPS. The market generally views this as a long-term positive for ETH fundamentals, which has already triggered a short-term price rebound.
Current price: approximately $2,260 - $2,350 range oscillation (briefly rebounded above $2,400 in early May). Since May, it has slightly increased along with BTC rebound but remains significantly behind Bitcoin, with ETH/BTC ratio being relatively low.
In the short term, facing resistance at $2,400-$2,500, with support at $2,200-$2,300.
