According to CBS / 60 Minutes citing Kpler, approximately 700 vessels are stranded in the Persian Gulf, including around 400 oil tankers carrying approximately 200 million barrels of oil.

This is equivalent to roughly 27 million tonnes of oil. With WTI at around $95 per barrel and Brent at around $100, the situation remains a serious shock to energy markets and global trade until passage through the Strait of Hormuz is normalized.
