Recently, a bunch of social mining, points tasks, badges, and identity stuff has been flooding the scene. Basically, it's just using your time as liquidity. Watching others post progress bars makes me itchy too, but I, being a slowpoke, find it more peaceful: wait for on-chain confirmations and more stable rules before jumping in. Otherwise, changing weights today and thresholds tomorrow, and in the end, all you get is a "early adopter" label after a lot of fuss.

The group keeps going back and forth on stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and de-pegging rumors, and the emotions get carried away. The more these times, the more I feel, don’t drain your attention just for a badge. If something really goes wrong, points won't help you ride out the volatility. I now focus on a few protocols that I truly find useful, taking it slow—anyway, I’m not in a rush.
