CryptoWorld News reports that Bitmine (BMNR), the largest Ethereum treasury company, may slow down its Ethereum (ETH) accumulation rate. Company chairman Tom Lee said at Consensus 2026 in Miami that Bitmine currently holds more than 5.1 million ETH, worth approximately $11.9 billion. The company originally expected it would take five years to accumulate 5% of the ETH supply, but it has now reached 4.29% in less than a year. Lee said, “At our current rate of purchasing 100,000 ETH per week, we will reach the 5% target in about six weeks.” He added, “We might decide to accumulate at a slightly slower pace.”
