BitMine Chairman Tom Lee stated that as the company approaches the goal of holding 5% of the total ETH supply, it may slow down ETH purchasing in the future. Tom Lee said that BitMine is currently buying about 100k ETH per week, and at the current purchase rate, it will reach the target in about 6 weeks. As of this week, BitMine holds approximately 100k ETH, accounting for about 4.29% of the total ETH supply, valued at approximately $11.9 billion at current prices. Tom Lee also mentioned that about 85% of the ETH held by BitMine is staked, generating an annualized staking income of over $300 million; additionally, BitMine is advancing its $4 billion stock buyback plan and expanding its institutional staking platform MAVAN.
