So, have you ever wondered how many cryptocurrencies Elon Musk actually owns? Like, the guy is literally the Dogefather, and his tweets move markets. Look, in 2021 Tesla invested $1.5 billion in Bitcoin when it wasn't mainstream yet, and even though they sold a good part of it later, Musk says he still has some personally. Bitcoin remains his main store of value, the real digital gold of the situation.
Then there's Ethereum, which he confirmed owning during a conference in 2021. It makes sense, right, since ETH is the foundation of the entire DeFi movement and NFTs. But Musk's true obsession is Dogecoin — the people's cryptocurrency, as he calls it. He even wanted to add DOGE as a payment method for Tesla and SpaceX. Currently, DOGE is around $0.11 with a market capitalization of $16.82 billion.
Here's where it gets interesting: there are rumors about other cryptocurrencies he might own, like Shiba Inu, although he denies everything. The fact is, when Musk tweets about dog-themed coins, the market goes crazy. Floki Inu, for example, is named after his Shiba dog, but no one really knows if he owns it. In short, with Elon Musk and cryptocurrencies, it's always a mystery what’s really happening in his wallet.
