I just looked at the funding rates again and they’re starting to become extreme, a bunch of people in the group are shouting "counterparty positions are rushing in," I even have a bit of a tremble... But honestly, the hardest part at this moment isn’t the direction, it’s whether you can withstand those needle-like fluctuations. In the past, I would force myself to take the counterparty position; winning felt like being chosen by the heavens, losing would make me doubt life.
Now I more like doing a "backup": a backup of my position, a backup of my mindset. If I really have to go in, I’ll try with a small position, and the rest I’ll hide away, wait until the funding rate returns to normal before acting. Anyway, missing out is better than being swept away.
Recently, AI Agents and automated trading are hot again, feeling like half of it is hype and half is about securing safety... I, as someone with shaky hands, better not give out permissions casually, I’d rather earn a little less and first back up my wallet (not a tutorial, just have a clear mind).
