Recently testing the Unichain testnet, I found this platform developed by Uniswap quite interesting, mainly aiming to solve the cross-chain liquidity issues in DeFi. Participating in the testnet gives a chance to receive future token airdrops, so I documented the entire process to share with everyone.

First, you need to add the Unichain network to MetaMask. Open your wallet, go to network settings, select manual addition, and enter the network name as Unichain Sepolia, Chain ID as 1301, and the currency symbol as ETH. Once done, you can switch to this network.

Next, claim test ETH. Visit the Sepolia faucet website, enter your Sepolia wallet address, and click to receive. You will get some test tokens to pay for Gas fees. These test tokens have no real value; they are only for use in testing environments.

Then, use Superbridge cross-chain bridge to transfer test assets from Sepolia to Unichain. Connect MetaMask, select the asset to transfer, confirm the target chain as Unichain, and the whole process usually takes a few minutes. You can check the transfer status on a blockchain explorer.

A few things to note: be sure to use official tools to avoid phishing sites. Although operations on Sepolia use test tokens, some still require Gas fees. Cross-chain transfers carry technical risks, so only test on the testnet—do not use real funds. Lastly, whether it's the Unichain testnet or the test tokens from Sepolia, they are only for testing features and have no actual value.
