Pakistani officials: Pakistan is preparing for possible US-Iran negotiations

ME News report: On May 7 (UTC+8), a Pakistani official said that on the same day, relevant Pakistani authorities held a meeting in the capital, Islamabad, to prepare for possible U.S.-Iran negotiations in Islamabad and even a ceremony for signing an agreement. Another Pakistani source said that on the same day, the Pakistani military, police, and other relevant personnel also held a joint meeting in Rawalpindi, near the capital, to determine security measures for the potential U.S.-Iran negotiations next week.
