The world’s largest custodian bank, BNY (The Bank of New York Mellon), plans to provide digital asset custody services in Abu Dhabi through local partners Finstreet and ADI Foundation, and to build a regulated digital asset infrastructure based on the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). The initial phase of the plan will focus on custody services for cryptocurrencies such as BTC and ETH, with future plans to expand to stablecoins and tokenized assets. BNY currently has approximately $59 trillion in assets under custody and administration. (CoinDesk)
