I tried it once—too lazy to deal with it, so I set the contract to “unlimited allowance,” thinking, whatever, I’m just putting in a bit of money… Then later the project team swapped in some flashy, over-the-top frontend, and I foolishly clicked confirm. The next day I checked my wallet and saw I was missing a chunk, and it hit me: you’re giving away keys, not tickets. Straight talk: revoking permissions is as important as sleeping. You don’t sleep and you don’t revoke—you’ll end up in trouble sooner or later. Especially lately, when those chain game economies go off a cliff—an inflation + studio + coin price spiral—project teams start scrambling for ways to “keep themselves alive.” And the authorizations in your wallet are the easiest piece of meat for them to go after. Anyway, now after every interaction, I just revoke on the spot. I’d rather tap a couple extra times than turn into Exit Liquidity.
