ME News report: On April 9 (UTC+8), the Pakistani Ministry of Interior said on social media that on the 9th, Pakistani Interior Minister Muhsin Naqvi held talks with officials from the U.S. Embassy in Pakistan to discuss the current situation in the Middle East. Both sides welcomed a ceasefire in the region’s fighting and discussed upcoming negotiations between the U.S. and Iran in Islamabad, which will be attended by U.S. Vice President Vance, the U.S. President’s Special Envoy Witkoff, and former White House senior adviser and Trump’s son-in-law Kushner.
