AIMPACT News, April 9 — Alibaba Cloud’s Bianlian Platform officially launched the “Memory Bank” feature, granting AI Agents long-term memory capabilities across conversations. It is currently available for free for a limited time and supports API calls and third-party tool integration.
This system is based on four main modules: “Extraction—Storage—Retrieval—Injection,” which can automatically extract key information and store it after conversations, and dynamically call historical memories through semantic retrieval to achieve a more personalized interactive experience.
In terms of feature design:
Provides transparent configuration and preset rules to lower development barriers, suitable for customer service, consumer electronics, and other scenarios
Introduces a dynamic memory management mechanism supporting automatic updates, conflict filtering, and forgetting strategies
Optimizes retrieval algorithms, reducing average response time by 50%, with significantly improved relevance and accuracy
