ME News update: On May 6 (UTC+8), Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Zamiir said that cooperation and coordination between the IDF and the U.S. military have always been ongoing, and that they are currently closely monitoring developments in the situation. Zamiir said that Israel still has a series of targets in Iran that have yet to be struck. The IDF is on a high state of alert and is ready to return to war at any time. He said that such actions would further weaken the Iranian regime. Zamiir also said that since the outbreak of the current U.S.-Israel-Iran conflict, more than 2,000 Hezbollah fighters have been killed by the IDF in Lebanon. As of now, the Hezbollah side has not responded. (Source: ODAYLY)
