Mining cryptocurrencies from your phone? It used to be a dream, but now cryptocurrency mining apps make it truly accessible. You don't need to spend a fortune on equipment or be an expert – just a smartphone and a desire to earn.

We started testing a few popular tools. MinerGate is a classic – its Smart Mining feature automatically chooses what to mine based on market conditions. The cool thing is you can mine multiple coins at once and diversify your portfolio without switching between apps. The built-in wallet is also handy.

YouHodler works differently – more like a mining simulation where you receive rewards every hour. It doesn't require much processing power, meaning your battery lasts longer. It supports over 50 cryptocurrencies, and weekly payouts with compound interest can really add up.

Pi Network is something completely different. Instead of traditional mining, it uses a modified Stellar protocol. Energy consumption is minimal, and the app runs in the background. It's a great entry point for newcomers to crypto, although you'll need to wait for future coin valuation.

If you want to combine mining with trading, StormGain merges both worlds in one place. The interface is very user-friendly, supports multiple languages, and withdrawal fees are competitive. You can mine up to 0.0318 BTC daily, which can be traded immediately on the platform.

CryptoTab Browser is an interesting option – you mine Bitcoin simply by browsing the internet. You don't have to do anything special; the app runs in the background. There's also a referral program that increases earnings when you invite friends.

Pocket Miner is a lightweight Android app that doesn't drain your battery. It has an integrated wallet, 2FA, encryption – everything you need. New miners will also find educational support there.

NiceHash is for more advanced users. You can buy and sell hashing power, access a profitability calculator, and use autopilot features. The mobile app allows you to manage your mining operation from anywhere.

Minerstat (since 2017) is a tool for monitoring multiple devices. If you have several mining rigs, this cryptocurrency mining app gives you a full overview of performance, profit forecasts, and support for many coins.

Brave Browser is innovative – instead of traditional mining, you earn BAT tokens by watching ads. Less energy consumption, no battery drain, full privacy. It’s more about earning attention than computational power.

When choosing a cryptocurrency mining app, pay attention to device compatibility, security features (2FA, encryption), an interface you understand, and real profits. Read reviews, check reputation. Different mining apps have different approaches – cloud, mobile, browsers – pick what suits your needs and skills.

One important thing: if an app is no longer supported, your assets could be at risk. Always transfer earned cryptocurrencies to your personal wallet. Mining on your phone is a great way to start, but it doesn’t replace a serious approach to security.
