Today I checked the mempool again, it really looks like the morning rush hour waiting in line for breakfast... Placing an order doesn't mean the food will be served immediately, it just means you got a number. When there's congestion, miners/validators will naturally prioritize those who give bigger tips (in other words, higher transaction fees), so your transaction might stay stuck for a long time or even get bumped and resubmitted later. The most frustrating mindset is thinking you've completed the buy or sell, but you're actually still in transit.

Recently, Layer 2 is again arguing over TPS, fees, and subsidies over which is stronger. I admit I’m a bit envious, after all, who doesn’t want instant confirmation with a single click... But when the chain gets congested, you realize, don’t force through urgent transactions, don’t stay up all night staring at that pending status, treat your positions like children: better to cancel and resend, split into batches, and don’t get overly emotional about adding more. For now, sleeping is more important than grabbing those few seconds.
