ME News report: On May 6 (UTC+8), according to official information, Manta Network announced it will terminate the Manta staking program. The reason is that inflationary staking rewards—rewards generated through the issuance of new tokens—will dilute all MANTA holders over time. Staking rewards will officially stop after two weeks. Operators can withdraw immediately, and delegators can unstake at any time via the dashboard, with funds kept secure and fully under users’ control. Meanwhile, Manta Network will operate Manta Pacific’s Layer 2 infrastructure independently, no longer relying on third-party operators. The previously announced Manta Atlantic deprecation plan is also in progress. (Source: PANews)
