ME News Report, April 9 (UTC+8), Visa announced the Intelligent Commerce Connect solution, designed to provide businesses, AI agent builders, and merchants with easy access to AI-driven commerce. Intelligent Commerce Connect achieves a single integration through the Visa acceptance platform, supporting secure payment initiation, tokenization, spending control, and authentication, and can process both Visa and non-Visa card payments simultaneously. The solution is compatible with mainstream agent protocols such as Trusted Agent Protocol (TAP), Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), Agentic Commerce Protocol (ACP), and Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP), and enables merchant product catalogs to be discoverable by AI platforms. It has already been piloted with partners including Aldar, AWS, Diddo, Highnote, Mesh, Payabli, and Sumvin, and will gradually be opened to more partners this year. (Source: Foresight News)
